Another family drawing to celebrate the day of my birth.  This one was done by my sister, Ashly.  It celebrates my shortlived (one day) mutton-chop period this past June.  She definitely put me in some kind of girdle or corset.  Maybe a pair of each.  But hot damn if she didn’t nail my bellbottoms!

Today’s my birthday and what better way to celebrate than to post a couple recent drawings by the family?  This whole project started with wanting to watch the development of my sister’s drawing so its always great to get a couple new ones.  These ones were drawn while taking a break at San Diego Comic Con.  The top pictures were drawn by my sister, 8, and features me as a robot and me as an orange.  The other by my son, 9, features me trying to recover from all the craziness of SDCC.

I love seeing the inspiration in the kids after a convention.  There is so much amazing art and talent flying around that it is impossible not to get jazzed about it.  Thanks for following this feed and spread it around.  Hopefully we can get some amazing new Celebs in my 29th year.

One of my favorite things about my project is watching styles change and grow.  My sister, Audrey, has been drawing me since she was four-years-old and I love to see how irreverent she is getting.  Please note the Pepsi advert.  This is not product placement but I wish it was.
